Kimchi and Pork Congee

This flavor is quite usual in Korea. Every bite filled with the special taste of kimchi, very delicious!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Soak the kombu until soft. Rinse the rice and drain. Marinate with salt and oil for 30 minutes.

Step 2
Marinate the pork with light soy sauce, salt and oil for 15 minutes.

Step 3
Cook rice and water on medium high heat and bring it to boil. Cover the lid, reduce to medium low heat and cook for 30 minutes.

Step 4
Add pork, kimchi, kombu and mix well. Cook until the pork is done.

Step 5
Add egg wash and mix well. Ready to serve.
