Fresh and Dried Scallop Congee

It’s a convenient and quick congee recipe. In a pot, add all the ingredients other scallops and cook for 30 minutes, then add the scallop in and ready to serve. Check it out!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Rinse the rice and drain. Marinate with salt and oil for 30 minutes.

Step 2
Marinate the fresh scallops with ginger, light soy sauce, white pepper and corn starch for 15 minutes.

Step 3
Cook rice, dried scallops and water on medium high heat and bring it to boil.

Step 4
Cover the lid, reduce to medium low heat and cook for 30 minutes.

Step 5
Open the lid. Add fresh scallops and cook for 5 minutes until done. Ready to serve.
