Lettuce Wrapped with Chinese Yam and Bell Pepper

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Peel and dice the fresh Chinese yam. Seed and dice the bell peppers. Dice the lean pork. Rinse and soak the lotus seeds. Soak and separate the fresh lily bulb.

Step 2
Separate the lettuce leaves carefully and do not break them.

Step 3
Marinate the lean pork with light soy sauce, salt and sugar for 15 minutes.

Step 4
Bring a pot of water to boil. Add lotus seeds, cook for 8 minutes and drain.

Step 5
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add lean pork and stir-fry until cooked.

Step 6
Add Chinese yam, bell peppers, lily bulb and lotus seeds. Mix well.

Step 7
Season with some salt.

Step 8
Serve with lettuce.
