Macadamia Nut Cookie

This cookie recipe is very time-saving and simple. It is crunchy in texture and full of fragrance of nuts.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Preheat an oven to 150C. Cover a baking tray with parchment paper.

Step 2
Chop the macadamia nuts and almonds.

Step 3
Mix together the butter and caster sugar until light yellow.

Step 4
Add egg and vanilla extract. Mix until thickened.

Step 5
Sieve in all-purpose flour in a few times and mix well.

Step 6
Add macadamia nuts, almonds and mix well.

Step 7
Roll the dough into a long log. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours or until set.

Step 8
Cut into 0.5cm thick slices. Place on the baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool and ready to serve.
