Step 1
Soak and rinse the lotus seeds, dried lily bulbs, dried longans, pearl barley, red dates and red beans. Soak, rinse and shred the white fungus. Cut the chestnuts into halves.

Step 2
In a pot, add lotus seeds, dried lily bulbs, dried longans, pearl barley, chestnuts, red dates, red beans, white fungus and water. Bring to boil on medium heat.

Step 3
Cover the lid, reduce to medium low heat and cook for 45 minutes.

Step 4
Remove the lid. Add rock sugar to season and cook until melts. Ready to serve.
