Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Julienne the cabbage and dried tofu. Soak the black fungus and dried shiitake mushrooms until soft and julienne. Peel and julienne the carrot. Mix the taro with five spice powder and salt.

Step 2
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add cabbage, carrot and black fungus. Sauté until fragrant, add salt and some water. Cover the lid and cook until softened. Transfer to a plate and set aside.

Step 3
In the same pan, add some oil. Add dried shiitake mushrooms, dried tofu and sauté until fragrant. Add cabbage, carrot, black fungus and mix well. Season with light soy sauce, ground white pepper, sesame oil and mix well.

Step 4
Place some taro and fillings on the spring roll wrapper. Roll and form the shape. Fix the ending with some corn starch.

Step 5
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add spring rolls and deep fry until golden brown. Ready to serve.
