Spanish Tortilla

Step 1
Peel and thinly slice the potato into small pieces.

Step 2
Dice the bell peppers, onion and garlic.

Step 3
Bring a pot of water to boil, cook the potato slices for 15 minutes under tender. Drain and set aside.

Step 4
In a saucepan over medium heat, add 2 tbsp of oil and cook the onion until fragrant. Add garlic, bell peppers to cook until tender. Season with ½ tsp of salt and pepper.

Step 5
Whisk the egg and mix in the cooked ingredients. Season with another ½ tsp of salt and pepper.

Step 6
Heat the pan over medium heat, add 3 tbsp of oil and pour in the egg mixture, gently mix it in order to spread evenly. Run the tortilla edges with a spatula after cooking for 5 minutes to make sure nothing is stuck.

Step 7
Place a plate over the pan when the tortilla surface starts to set. Flip the pan into the plate.

Step 8
Slide the tortilla back to the pan and cook for another 5 minutes. Ready to serve.
