Quick & Easy Rice Cooker Turnip Cake

Step 1
Peel the radish. Grate half of the radish and cut another half into strips.

Step 2
In a dry pan, stir fry the Chinese sausage, mushroom and dried shrimp over medium heat until fragrant. Transfer to plate and set aside.

Step 3
Sift both the rice flour and corn starch into a large bowl, pour in chicken stock and mix well. Set aside.

Step 4
With the same pan, add radish and brown sugar, stir fry 15 minutes until tendered. Off the heat, add cooked ingredients and pour in the flour mixture. Fold to combine.

Step 5
Divide the turnip cake mixture into half, stir in black truffle sauce and XO sauce respectively.

Step 6
Place cake mixture into the rice cooker, select rice cooking function and cook thoroughly. (Insert a chopstick into the middle of the cake, if it comes out clean it is fully cooked.) Let cool and transfer to plate. Enjoy!
