Braised Pork Knuckle with Peanut and Dried Oyster

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Soak the peanut for an hour

Step 2
Soak mushroom until soft and save the liquid

Step 3
Peel the water chestnut

Step 4
Soak the dried oyster for an hour, add Chinese cooking wine

Step 5
Steam for 5 minutes

Step 6
In a pot, add water, ginger, green onion and pork knuckle. Bring it to boil and blanch it for 5 minutes

Step 7
Drain and set aside

Step 8
In a pot, add oil on a medium high heat. Cook the pork knuckle until golden brown

Step 9
Add mushroom, water chestnut, peanut and 1L water

Step 10
Add mushroom liquid and the seasoning, bring it to boil. Cover the lid and reduce the heat to medium and cook for 2-3 hours until the pork knuckle is tender

Step 11
Add the oyster in the last 45 minutes

Drizzle with sesame oil
