Seared Pork Chop with Apple Mustard Sauce

Step 1
Season the pork chop with fresh thyme, salt and pepper

Step 2
Peel the apples and cut into small diced

Step 3
In a pan, add oil on a medium heat. Sear the pork chop until golden brown on both sides

Transfer to the baking pan and place the cheese on top

Step 5
Preheat the oven to 180ºC and bake until the pork chop is cooked and the cheese has melted

Step 6
In a sauce pan, add apple and brown sugar and cook for 5 minutes until sugar is fully dissolved

Step 7
Add cinnamon, mustard and honey and cook for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper

Step 8
Place the pork chop on top of the apple sauce and serve
