Step 1
Cut the green onion into section, slice the ginger and garlic

Step 2
Remove the stem and cut the mushroom in half. Slice the tofu

Step 3
Cut the fish head in half

Step 4
In the pan, add oil and fry the fish head until golden brown about 2-3 minutes. Transfer to kitchen paper and set aside

Step 5
Add oil in the same pan, sauté the green onion, ginger and garlic until fragrant about 30 seconds

Step 6
Add the fish, Chinese cooking wine, 500mL water, mushrooms, salt and bring it to boil

Step 7
Add salt and tofu, cook for another 2-3 minutes until the tofu is fully cooked

Step 8
Ready to serve
