Classic Sticky Fried Rice
Ingredients

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Soak the sticky rice for 12 hours or overnight.

Step 2
Slice the Chinese cured sausages.

Step 3
Dice the Chinese mushrooms.

Step 4
Rinse the dried shimrps and then soak in hot water for about 30 minutes. Keep the water for later use.

Step 5

Using the water from step 1, add salt, sugar, ground white pepper, soy sauce, dark soy sauce and mix well.

In a saute pan, add some oil, sauce the green onions until aromatic. Add Chinese sauce, dried shrimps, and mushrooms to saute for a few minutes. Remove and set aside.

Add the sticky rice to the saute pan, saute on medium heat. Sauteing constantly and gradually add the sauce from step 2. Add the sauce in 3-4 separate portions. Saute until the sticky rice is fully co
