Lotus root is one of the favorite ingredients whenhaving spicy hotpot. For the same case, frying with Sichuan pepper and red chili is always the best combination with lotus root. This dish is easy-to-cook and suitable for busy people.

Step 1
Clean the lotus root and slice it.

Step 2
Cut red chili, spring onion and ginger into strings.

Step 3
Pre-heat the saucepan with oil, sauté Sichuan pepper and ginger, take half of them out of the pan.

Step 4
In the same pan, stir-fry the lotus root until it turns golden brown.

Step 5
Add red chili and stir them well.

Step 6
Serve with green onion on top.
