Steamed Dried Scallop and Shrimp In Winter Melon Ring

Shrimp Marinade
Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Marinate the shrimp with Chinese cooking wine, sesame oil, salt and pepper for 15 minutes

Step 2
Soak the dried scallop for an hour then shredded

Step 3
Cut the straw mushroom in halves

Step 4
Peel the skin of the winter melon and remove the seed in the middle

Step 5
Place the winter melon ring in the shallow plate, add the Swanson Superior Broth Scallop Flavoured and steam it for 20 minutes until tender

Step 6
Strain off the soup and reserve for later use

Step 7
In a pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Sauté the ginger until fragrant

Add the shrimp and cook for a minutes

Step 9
Add the straw mushroom and shredded dried scallop. Quick stir

Step 10
Add the reserved Swanson Superior Broth Scallop Flavoured and bring it to boil

In a small bowl, mix together the corn starch and water. Gradually add the corn starch water until the sauce has thicken

Transfer it over the winter melon ring and serve
