Stir-fried Hot and Spicy Beef with Celery

This dish is perfect to serve with a bowl of rice. It is easy to make and both ingredients, beef and celery, are best in winter. They make an excellent family dish.

Step 1
Clean and slice the beef. Clean and cut the celery into sections.

Step 2
Peel and slice the ginger. Cut the green onion into sections. Slice the red bird chili.

Step 3
In a bowl, marinate the beef with light soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine, corn starch and sugar for 20 minutes.

Step 4
In a pan, add some oil and sauté the ginger and red bird chili until fragrant.

Step 5
Add the beef and cook over high heat until it is cooked.

Step 6
Add the celery and quick stir. Season with salt.

Step 7
Add the green onion, toss well and ready to serve.
