Paper Wrapped Sponge Cake

Paper Wrapped Sponge Cake is the old memory of our age. It is spongy and easy to make. Try this at home!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 170ºC.Separate the egg white and egg yolk.

Step 2
Add 30g sugar in the egg white and whisk until soft peak.

Step 3
Add 40g sugar in the egg yolk and whisk until light yellow.

Step 4
Add the vegetable oil, milk, vanilla extract and mix well.

Step 5
Sieve in the cake flour and corn starch. Whisk until no lumps.

Step 6
Add 1/3 of the egg white to the egg yolk mixture and whisk until combine.

Step 7
Pour the mixture back to the egg white and fold until combine.

Step 8
Place the parchment paper in the cupcake tin, pour the batter about 3/4 full.

Step 9
Place in the oven and bake it for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 10
Let cool and ready to serve.
