As for beef brisket, it should be soft and tasty. Using Shio Koji can further marinate and tenderize it. With the tasty Curry Beef Brisket, you can have rice, spaghetti or even bread!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Mince the garlic and ginger.

Step 2
Cut the onion, carrot, tomato and potato into pieces.

Step 3
Marinate the beef brisket with 2 tbsp shio koji for 30 minutes.

Step 4
In a bowl, mix together curry powder, turmeric, paprika, ground cumin and ground coriander.

Step 5
In a pot, add some oil on a medium high heat. Sear the beef brisket until golden brown and set aside.

Step 6
In the same pot, add some oil and sauté the garlic, ginger, onion and carrot until fragrant.

Step 7
Add the curry mixture and mix well.

Step 8
Add the beef, potato, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, some water and bring it to boil.

Step 9
Reduce the heat to medium, cover the lid and cook for an hour.

Step 10
Add the tomato and cook for another 30 minutes until the sauce has thickened.

Season with some shio koji and white pepper.

Ready to serve.
