What you need is a household steamer, then you can make these classic rice noodle rolls at home!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Mix together the minced beef, white pepper and light soy sauce. Set aside.

Step 2
Prepare the sauce. In a bowl, add the light soy sauce, chili oil, mature vinegar, peanut paste and sugar. Microwave for 30 seconds. Mix well and set aside.

Step 3
Combine together the rice flour, potato starch and corn starch. Add oil, water and mix into flour mixture. Set aside.

Step 4
In a shallow tray, place a sheet of parchment paper. Spread some lard and pour a thin layer of flour mixture. Place into a steamer and steam for 3 minutes (6 minutes for Fried Chinese Doughnut in Rice Noodle Roll).

Step 5
Prepare the Beef Rice Noodle Roll. Add the chopped green onion and minced beef on a layer of rice noodle sheet. Place into a steamer and steam for 3 minutes. Roll and cut into sections. Sprinkle with white sesame. Drizzle with the sauce. Ready to serve.

Prepare the Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll. Add the chopped green onion, dried chili powder and shrimps on a layer of rice noodle sheet. Place into a steamer and steam for 3 minutes. Roll and cut into sections. Sprinkle with the chopped green onion. Drizzle with the sauce. Ready to serve.
