Dried Scallop Chicken and Chestnut Rice

Chestnut is not only tasty, but also a great ingredient to enjoy in winter. It has a pleasing taste and are packed with nutrients. In this cold winter, nothing is better than having a bowl of Dried Scallop Chicken and Chestnut Rice!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Marinate the chicken thigh meat and shiitake mushrooms with light and dark soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine, sugar, salt and white pepper for 30 minutes.

Step 2
Shred the dried scallops.

Step 3
In a pot, bring some water to boil. Blanch the chestnuts for 5 minutes. Drain and cut each into 4.

Step 4
In a cooker, add rice and water. Place the chicken thigh meat, shiitake mushrooms, chestnuts and dried scallops. Cook with the cooker.

Step 5
Stir well and transfer to the plate. Sprinkle with green onion. Ready to serve.
