Cheese and Bacon Hasselback French Bread

Spread the hasselback French bread with your homemade herb butter and stuff it with seared bacon and cheese!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Preheat an oven to 200°C. Cover a baking tray with foil and set aside. Soften the butter under room temperature. Chop the rosemary and mince the garlic.

Step 2
Halve the Mozzarella cheese.

Step 3
Mix together butter, rosemary and garlic.

Step 4
Slice the bread into 2cm thick but do not cut to the bottom.

Step 5
In a pan, add bacon and sear until cooked. Transfer to a plate.

Step 6
Spread each slice of bread with herb butter. Stuff cheese and bacon between each slice.

Step 7
Spread the top of the bread with butter.

Step 8
Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese melted. Ready to serve.
