Baked Potatoes with Cheese

Besides milk, cheese is the best source of calcium, it has a unique flavor, and it makes different flavors on different dishes. But cheese contain high fat content especially cheddar cheese. Every 1oz it’s contain 9.5g fat, is equal to 2 teaspoons of oil. It’s about 30% of total calories, and it considered caused by fat.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
In a pan, add oil and sauté the garlic until fragrant, add ham and cook until golden brown, set aside.

Step 2
Peeled the potatoes and cut into slice, steam it for 15 minutes until the fork can poke through.

Step 3
Use the fork to mash the ham, potatoes, add butter, salt, pepper and cream, mix until smooth.

Step 4
Press over the baking pan, use the fork to draw a straight line, sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake it for 15 minutes at 200°C until it turns golden brown. Ready to serve.

Tips: 1. Smoked ham has very low in fat, and have smoky flavor. It a good substitute of bacon. 2. Parmesan cheese have lower fat content then cheddar cheese, just do not eat too much. It make the dish tasty and not too fat.
