Cabbage Wrapped Red Dates Rice

Step 1
Soak the red dates until soft, remove the seeds and cut in small pieces

Combine the rice and red dates and place in the rice cooker to cook

Cut the chicken into small pieces and marinate for 20 minutes

Cut the shrimp into small cubes and marinate for 20 minutes

Gently remove the leaves from the cabbage

In a pot, bring the water to boil and blanch the cabbage and green onion for 30 seconds. Drain and set aside

Beat the egg in a mixing bowl

In a pan, add oil on a medium heat. Ladle the egg in a thin layer and cook until golden brown

Place the egg skin on a plastic, repeat the step until all of the egg mixture is cooked

In the same pan, add oil on a medium heat. Sauté the chicken until golden brown then add the shrimp together and cook until it fully cooked. Transfer to the plate and aside

Use the sushi roller, lay the cabbage on a surface area, place the egg skin on top. Scoop the cooked rice in the middle

Add the chicken and shrimp mixture, roll the cabbage from the bottom to form a roll

Tight it with green onion, cut the ends off and repeat the step
