Is a lemon? Is a cake? There is no sour or tart when bite of a lemon juice, but it is a sweet and delicious cake. This sweet and sour adorable little cakes, accompanied with a cup of tea, it makes a complete afternoon tea.

Step 1
Zest teh lemon

Step 2
Juice the lemon

Step 3
In a mixing bowl, use a hand blender and blend the butter until fluffy

Step 4
Add half of the sugar and whisk to combine. Then add the rest of the sugar and mix well

Step 5
Gradually add the eggs and beat until combine. Add the lemon juice and mix well

Step 6
Add the cake flour and baking powder in the batter. Add the lemon zest. Whisk until there is no more lumps

Step 7
Brush the mold with butter and dust with some flour

Step 8
Pour the batter in the mold about ¾ full

Step 9
Bake it for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool

Step 10
Combine powdered sugar and lemon juice in a bowl, whisk until smooth. Add the yellow food coloring and mix well

Step 11
Pour over the tops of the cakes. Let cool and set
