Mushroom with Creamy Basil Sauce

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Chop the basil leaves. Remove the stems of the mushrooms. Set aside.

Step 2
Prepare Creamy Basil Sauce. Cut the butter into pieces. Place onto a pan and melt it. Add sugar, whipping cream and cook until thickened. Add the basil leaves and stir well. Set aside.

Step 3
In another pan, melt the remaining butter. Add the mushrooms and sear until golden brown.

Step 4
Add Creamy Basil Sauce, minced ginger and sweet soy sauce. Cook under medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat.

Step 5
Transfer the mushrooms onto a plate. Drizzle with the sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese and basil leaves as garnish. Ready to serve.
