Egg fu yung is a Cantonese dish. The name comes from its appearance looks like a blooming white lotus, so Zhu Shanxiang, a member of the Imperial Academy in Qing dynasty, named it as Egg Fu Yung (means egg lotus).

Step 1
Bean sprouts, yellow chives, garlic & green onions

Step 2
Eggs & BBQ pork

Step 3
Thinly slice the BBQ pork

Step 4
Cut the yellow chives into 2-inch long pieces

Step 5
Beat the eggs

Step 6
Add bean sprouts

Step 7
Add BBQ pork

Step 8
Add chives

Step 9
Add back bean sprouts

Step 10
Pour egg mixture into the pan

Step 11
Mix well

Step 12
Cook until Omelette is golden on both sides
