Peel and slice the onion

Dice the shallot

Slightly pound the pork chop with the back of the knife and season with salt and black pepper

Wash and clean the potato. Steam the potato until soft, drain and transfer to the mixing bowl

Use a masher to mash the potato

Add the whipping cream, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and black pepper. Whisk until it smooth. Transfer to the serving plate

In a pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Sear the pork chop until golden brown on both sides

In a pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Sauté the shallot until fragrant, add the red wine, balsamic vinegar and bring it to simmer

Reduce the sauce about half, stir in the honey. Season with salt and black pepper
