Durian Mousse Cake

Summer is the season of durian. Use it to make a simple yet delicious mousse cake. Even those durian haters will love it!

Step 1
Prepare the crust. Mix together the digestive biscuit crumble and melted butter.

Step 2
Place the mixture in the cake mold and press it evenly. Refrigerate it for 30 minutes.

Step 3
Prepare the filling. Mix together the gelatin powder and water. Double boil until the gelatin until completely dissolved.

Step 4
Remove the seed and place the durian meat in the blender and coarsely blend.

Step 5
In a bowl, combine the whipping cream, sugar and whisk until soft peak.

Step 6
Add the gelatin liquid, durian and mix well.

Step 7
Pour the durain mousse in the cake mold, slightly tap the mold on the table to release air bubble.

Step 8
Use the spatula to smooth the top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.

Step 9
Remove from the mold and ready to serve.
