Easy Weeknight Apple Crumble

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Peel apples and diced them into small cubes. Squeeze lemon juice onto the apples to prevent them from browning.

Step 2
Add in remaining ingredients: brown sugar, all-purpose flour, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract and raisins. Toss to mix everything together.

Step 3
In a separate bowl, place flour, oatmeal, sugar and cinnamon. Mix well.

Step 4
Shred the butter and add into the flour mixture. Stir with hands gently until well mixed together.

Step 5
Spoon the apple mixture into 2 small oven proofed dishes. Top with generous amount of the crumble over the fruits.

Step 6
Place on a baking tray and bake in oven for 15-20 minutes until the surface is golden brown.

Step 7
When baked through, take the apple crumbles out of the oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes. Serve warm with your favourite vanilla ice cream.
