Simple Steamed Fish Maw and Sea Cucumber in Rice Cooker

Step 1
Soak the dried mushrooms until soft. Skin the chicken thighs. Chop the Chinese cabbage. Seed the red dates. Set aside. Soak the fish maw tubes and sea cucumbers. Remove the internal organs and rinse.

Step 2
Blanch in a pot of boiling water with 3 slices of ginger and green onion for 5-6 minutes. Cut into pieces.

Step 3
Rinse other ingredients and place all into a rice cooker. Use “slow cook” or “stew” function and cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Step 4
Add fish maw tubes and sea cucumbers. Cook for another 45 minutes and ready to serve.
