Wolfberry Steamed Egg

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Bring 1L water to boil. Add bonito flakes and cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and set for 10 minutes. Season with salt and mirin. Remove bonito flakes and let cool.

Step 2
Rinse wolfberries, shiitake mushrooms and dried shrimps for 30 minutes. Slice the mushrooms, dice the shrimps and shred the crab sticks.

Step 3
Gently beat the eggs. Try not to make any bubbles. Sieve the egg wash.

Step 4
Place the shrimps, wolfberries, mushrooms and crab sticks into tea cups. Pour the egg wash inside.

Step 5
Cover with heat proved plastic wrap and steam for 15-20 minutes until the egg is set. Ready to serve.
