Mushroom and Meat Rice Dumplings

This rice dumpling is simple and delicious. You can pack your own fillings to make the rice dumplings that best suit your taste.

Step 1
Remove stems from the soaked dried mushrooms.

Step 2
Add pork belly and mushrooms in a bowl, marinate with dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, sugar and salt for 30 minutes.

Step 3
Pour the marinade sauce into the glutinous rice and mix well.

Step 4
Use 3 bamboo leaves to wrap the glutinous rice, pork, and mushrooms into a rice dumpling shape.

Step 5
Tie it tightly with cotton thread, add water and wrapped rice dumpling in the pot.

Step 6
Bring to a boil on high heat. After it boils, cook on low heat for 2 hours. Take out and ready to serve.
