Clam with Lemongrass and Coconut Water

Use lemongrass and coconut to make clams, it is full of Vietnam cooking flavor, you can eat the freshness of the clam meat, but also the fragrance on lemongrass and coconut, this is a great party dish for banquet as well.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Soak the clam in salted water to remove the sand. Rinse and drain

Step 2
Peel and slice the shallot. Mince the garlic

Step 3
Slightly smash the lemongrass with the knife and cut into pieces

Step 4
In a pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Sauté the garlic, shallot and lemongrass until fragrant

Step 5
Add the clam and quick stir

Step 6
Add the coconut water and chicken broth. Bring it to simmer and cover the lid and cook until the clams are all open

Step 7
Juice the lime

Step 8
Remove from the heat and add the fish sauce, sugar and lime juice. Adjust the taste if needed
