Steamed Milk with Red Date and Fish Maw

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Seed the red dates and lotus seeds. Set aside. Soak the fish maw tubes. Blanch with ginger and green onion in a pot of water for 5-6 minutes. Slice and set aside.

Step 2
Place all the ingredients (except fish maw and rock sugar) into a Chinese stew pot.

Step 3
Steam until boil. Reduce to the lowest heat and cook for 45 minutes.

Step 4
Add fish maw tubes and rock sugar. Steam for another 30 minutes until fish maw tubes are soft. Ready to serve.
